Acupuncture

Audrey Lowe, physiotherapist and acupuncturist, wants you to feel, sleep and live life better.

Early in her physiotherapist career, Audrey was introduced to the practice of acupuncture and was so impressed with its potential for helping people live better lives, she pursued additional training to become an acupuncturist in 1996. In 2016 she added Craniosacral Therapy to her skill set and integrates it into both professional practices.

During her 30 + years of physiotherapist practice, Audrey has enjoyed working with adults and children with acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain including those with complex persistent problems (i.e. arthritis, chronic pain, concussion, whiplash).

As an acupuncturist with 25 years experience she uses acupuncture and traditional Chinese Medicine to inform the treatment of acute (i.e sports injuries) and chronic pain (i.e. neck/low back pain, headache, whiplash, arthritis, headache) insomnia, stress, anxiety, autoimmune conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, allergies and asthma. Audrey works with: – women with a combination of stress, pain, insomnia and hormonal issues, – individuals wanting treatment for the side effects of cancer treatment (i.e. hot flushes, fatigue, chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy, tight tissues), – individuals who have persistent painful conditions interested in trying the complementary therapies of acupuncture and craniosacral therapy, – children and teens with childhood ailments (allergies, stress, insomnia)
