Your Personal Best Just Got Better.
We provide the insight to perform better and safer than ever.
We work extensively with athletes and teams to help them move better. We've introduced a sport improvement program that helps uncover movement inefficiencies, the outcome is enhanced sport performance.
How You Move Impacts How You Play
You move a certain way. You may have never thought of it before, but we all have certain movement patterns. Often those patterns work really well, but sometimes you've developed certain patterns as a result of your sport or a past injury that are holding you back.
How We Evaluate Movement in Sport
We have developed specific movement screening protocols that will help to identify your movement inefficiencies. Our movement screening exams are broken into upper and lower body quadrants.
A movement screening exam will focus on either your upper or lower body, (or both!) and put you through the paces of understanding what's holding you back.
After the exam, you'll know your weaknesses and the exact, specific corrective exercises to help you move better.
Upper Body Movement Screen
- Includes evaluation of shoulder, trunk and neck movements.
- Identifies which movements are placing excess stress on various upper body joints
- Provides instruction on specific movement retraining exercises to correct faulty patterns.
Lower Body Movement Screen
- Includes evaluation of hip, low back, knees and ankles.
- Evaluates interaction of low back and hips during combined movements.
- Identifies which movements are placing excess stress on various lower body joints
- Provides instruction on specific movement retraining exercises to correct faulty patterns.
What Are the Benefits of Movement Screening?
There are a number of advantages to have a movement evaluation:
- Reduce your risk of future injury
- Avoid aggravating an old injury
- Increase strength and power of movement
- Increase confidence while playing
- Focus your off-the-field strength and agility training.
